2nd Annual Mobile Primary Golf Tournament

Better late than never.

2020 has been a crazy year for most of us. It has been filled with a lot of uncertainties and abnormalities. Last year in 2019 Mobile Primary Care hosted its 1st Annual Mobile Primary Brain Cancer Research Golf Tournament to benefit the CERN Foundation and research for ependymoma. It was a tournament that was put together short notice and we were able to raise over $17,500.00 dollars in an overall donation to CERN.

After our team met and recapped the year, it was decided to expand the primary committee members to Rich DeLotto of Danforth Construction and Patrick Crawford of Victaulic. The committee then decided to rebrand the event with a new location at Harvest Hill Golf course in Orchard Park, NY and creating a new logo for the event.

This year with the uncertainties and regulations that were changing on a week to week basis, our team was not sure if we would be able to host the tournament in 2020. The event ended up being pushed back a month into September, which aligned better with our cause since September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We ended up hosting the event on September 21st at Harvest Hill Golf Course. The weather could not have been better. When we tallied up all the donations and funds raised for the National Brain Tumor Society and the CERN Foundation, we were right at $37,000.00.

We could not have done such a remarkable job with this tournament in such an uncertain year if it were not for the incredible sponsors, donors, golfers, committee members, volunteers, and partners. We are extremely excited for next year and once again reaching new goals and new marks for such a  great cause.

Thank you,

The Mobile Primary Family
